This is a demo of a planet generator made in Unreal Engine 5. In its current state you can fly around and explore the planet, set terrain generation parameters and generate new planets.

In the future I want to add:

  • Ability to set parameters for the procedural sky.
  • Sun rotation to simulate day/night cycle.
  • Procedural placement of biomes with their own terrain parameters and materials.
  • Procedural placement of foliage and other environmental items.

This will eventually serve as the basis for generating a more complex planet for a trading game I'm making.
